This Privacy Policy explains how Bitunny ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information of users of the Bitunny platform. This policy is informed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), among other applicable data protection frameworks.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

Account information: username, email address, phone number;
Identity verification (KYC) information: full name, national ID/passport number, tax ID, date of birth, address, and identity document images, where you choose to submit them for verification;
Financial information: wallet addresses and bank account details you add for withdrawals;
Device and usage information: mining device identifiers, hash-rate and performance data, IP address, browser/user-agent, and platform activity logs.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal information to: provide and operate the platform (contractual necessity); verify your identity and comply with Anti-Money Laundering, Know-Your-Customer, and sanctions-screening obligations (legal obligation); maintain platform security and prevent fraud (legitimate interest); and communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support requests (contractual necessity / legitimate interest).

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with: regulators, law enforcement, or financial intelligence units where required by law or in connection with AML/KYC/FATF compliance obligations; service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., email delivery) under confidentiality obligations; and successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization.

Because Bitunny operates across multiple regions, personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

We retain identity verification and transaction records for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure or the date of the transaction, consistent with FATF Recommendation 11 and applicable AML record-keeping requirements. Other account data is retained for as long as your account remains active, plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal and audit purposes.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request erasure of your information (where not subject to a legal retention obligation); request a portable copy of your data; and object to or restrict certain processing. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale (Bitunny does not sell personal information). 8. Data Security

We apply technical and organizational measures — including password hashing, encrypted sessions, and access controls — designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The platform uses session cookies necessary for authentication and core functionality, and local storage for interface preferences (such as theme). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

The platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
